On behalf of Ludlow Baptist church, I’d like to invite you to come join us for worship this weekend. 

This week is often referred to by Christians as Holy Week. It’s so-called because on this week, the Christian church commemorates and celebrates the most central aspects of our faith: the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Bible testifies that Jesus Christ died on the cross as a substitute for sinners, paying the debt that we owed for our sin, and then rose again on the third day, confirming that his sacrifice was accepted by God the Father. Because of Christ’s great work, even the worst of sinners can be forgiven and reconciled to God. There is no greater news in the world! 

If you live near the Ludlow area and don’t have a church family, we would love to have you join us this weekend.

On Friday night at 6:30 p.m. is our Good Friday service. It will be a time of congregational singing, Scripture reading, and a message entitled “Why Jesus Needed to Die.” 

On Sunday, we have two different services, at 7:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Our first service is a sunrise service at 7:30 a.m. outside at the Gazebo. Roger Croswell, one of the elders at the church, will be preaching on “How Do We Know that Christ Died and Rose from the Dead?” Immediately after our service (at 8:30 a.m.), we will have a warm breakfast inside (all are invited!). We then have Sunday school for all ages at 9:30 a.m. And then our day will conclude with our worship service at 11 a.m. We have a very special Easter cantata prepared, along with congregational singing and a message on the significance of the resurrection.

Come on out this Friday and Sunday. Come hear why the Gospel is a message of the greatest hope and joy imaginable. Don’t fret about what to wear or what to say to others. Just come as you are. We’d love to have you join us!
