"Baptism: Proclamation, Identification, Cleansing”

Many evangelicals don't value baptism as they ought and instead see it as an optional add-on to the Christian faith or an essentially empty symbol. But baptism is a command given by our Lord and His apostles and it has a very rich meaning that can be summarized in three words: proclamation, union, and cleansing.
